For those of you that were impressionable in 1985 when Rocky IV came out (I was 12 and saw the move with my dad), did the movie make a difference in your life? I source this movie as the place where I got the feeling of pride to be an American and it was fashionable to be American. Also, the hard work mentality and the belief that there is no obstacle too challenging. Also, the good guys win in the end... In a lot of ways, this movie had a direct correlation to the political/economic scene that existed in the US back in the 1980s.
